About Us

Farrah

GWG Australia Leads the Way

Founder of Girls with Guns Australia

Empowering women with confidence

Meet Farrah who is the passionate force behind Girls with Guns Australia, a movement designed to empower women through safe, supportive, and skill-building experiences in the world of firearms and shooting sports.

With a long-standing history of running women’s empowerment workshops, Farrah brings a unique blend of strength, compassion, and leadership to everything she does. Before founding Girls with Guns Australia, Farrah dedicated years to facilitating workshops that helped women step into their power—whether it was through self-empowerment training, confidence coaching, or mindset development. She saw first-hand how transformative it can be when women are given tools, knowledge, and a safe space to grow.

Why She Started Girls with Guns Australia

  • Breaking barriers: Farrah saw the lack of female representation in the shooting  community and set out to change that.
  • Creating safe spaces: She wanted women to feel welcomed, not intimidated, when learning new skills.
  • Empowerment through action: Her background in women’s workshops inspired her to create a practical, hands-on way for women to build confidence.

What Girls with Guns Offers

  • Training that builds confidence: From absolute beginners to seasoned shooters, every woman is met where she’s at.
  • Community and connection: Regular meet-ups, workshops, and events that foster real sisterhood and support.
  • Leadership  through example: Farrah continues to lead from the front—showing women that strength comes in many forms.

Farrah’s Vision

“My passion has always been helping women step outside their comfort zone,” says Farrah. “Girls with Guns is about more than shooting—it’s about growth, courage, and realising you're capable of so much more than you think.”
